The 2015 Ford Everest has been introduced at the 2015 Bangkok Motor Show, in Thailand, as this will be offered for sale soon.
The 2015 Ford Everest is coming with a body-on-frame construction, with coil spring front and rear suspension system, a Watt’s linkage on the rear axle and thanks to these features, the model should feel more like a car on the road. The Everest is also using the terrain management system, offering four different drive modes, the normal, the snow/gravel/grass, the sand and the rock. The four-wheel drive system can switch to the appropriate four-wheel drive and traction control in order to match the terrain.
In the cabin, the 2015 Ford Everest has been equipped with a power third row seating, with noise cancelling, semi-automatic parking, the SYNC2 entertainment system, the 10-speaker sound system with a subwoofer, the power tailgate, a panoramic glass sunroof and several other tweaks. Safety features include the curve control, the electronic stability control, the roll stability control, blind spot information, cross traffic alert, semi-automatic parking and so on.
On its exterior design, we can notice some rugged looks, along with the similar front end of the facelifted Ranger pickup truck, LED daytime running lights, bi-xenon headlights and more. The engine lineup includes the 3.2 liter Duratorq turbocharged diesel, with 147 kW and 470 Nm of torque, along with the smaller 2.2 liter Duratorq four-cylinder turbo diesel, with 118 kW and 385 Nm of torque. These are connected to a six-speed automatic or to a manual transmission.
