The 2015 Ford Explorer has been modestly updated as the model in question will go on sale later on this month, on its local auto market.
Ford has decided to slightly update the Explorer for the 2015 model year as the model in question is now getting ready to go on sale. According to the North American based automaker, the 2015 Ford Explorer is now available with features such as the three new exterior colors, the Magnetic Metallic, the Bronze Fire Metallic Tinted Clearcoat or the Caribou Metallic.
“Customers asked for more and this is our answer. We know consumers love the look of Explorer Sport; with this package, you get that for Explorer XLT. It looks bold and rugged, and offers impressive technology at a surprising value”, said the Ford Explorer brand manager, Matt Zuehlk.
The 2015 Ford Explorer has also received the Magnetic metallic finish on the tailgate, on the grille and on the side mirrors, along with special floor mats, heated leather / suede seats, contrast stitching, MyFord Touch infotainment system, 4.2-inch color display in the instrument cluster and some other tweaks. Ford hasn’t announced the official price list for the updated Explorer just yet.
