Ford Motor Company is planning the development of the new generation of the Focus RS, and the hot hatch is expected to come in a five-door version only with 320 HP and front-wheel drive.
Even if there is no official word on the new generation of the Focus RS yet from Ford, rumors say that the model will get some radical changes. The guys at which should be enough to generate a total output of 320 horsepower. Besides the powerful version of the Ford Focus RS, a de-tuned variant is also expected to make its way into the 2014 Ford Mustang.
The new generation of the Ford Focus RS will be available in front-wheel drive because apparently the extra weight added with an all-wheel drive system won’t be what the market wants and besides this, it won’t fit onto the lowered sports chassis without some significant changes such as cutting the floor. The 2015 hot hatch will come in a five-door hatchback version only, once it will hit the market. Additional info on the model is limited.
