The new generation of the Ford Mustang has leaked once more, ahead of its public debut scheduled for the 5th of December, 2013.
Ford has tried to keep the 2015 Mustang a secret but, as we all know, things don’t always work out in this industry when it comes to this subject so the new generation of the muscle car has managed to leaked once again, this time on an upcoming issue of AutoWeek. The model in question is looking very similar to the renders released over the previous months and from the start we can see its evolutionary front fascia, with the prominent front grille, the slender headlights with incorporated LED daytime running lights, the front splitter, bulging hood and new side skirts.
The 2015 Ford Mustang has also received more muscular fenders, a dramatic roofline, a new greenhouse, a distinctive rear end, with new taillights, separated by a contrasting panel, a rear diffuser and a dual exhaust system. As far as weight goes, the new Ford Mustang generation is believed to be 90 kg (200 lbs) lighter than its predecessor. For the first time in history, the Ford Mustang will receive a four-cylinder 2.3 liter EcoBoost engine under its hood, which should be good for 275-310 HP. The model will also receive a 305 HP 3.7L V6 and a 420 HP 5.0L V8.
