The 2015 Ford Mustang RTR has been officially presented to the public during the 2014 SEMA Motor Show, in Las Vegas.

Ford Racing and Vaughn Gitten Motorsport have teamed up in order to create this 2015 Ford Mustang RTR. The model in question is based on the new generation of the muscle car and it is aimed to those who are looking into a meaner looking and also more powerful Mustang. In the Spec 1, the package is adding a lot of visual modifications, such as the rear diffuser with side splitters, the chin spoiler, the upper grille with built-in lighting, the lower grille, the rear spoiler, rocker splitters and so on.

There is also a Spec 2 package, which will bring a variety of power boosts, out of which the most important will be based on the range topper 5.0 liter V8 unit, which is now capable of producing a total output of 725 HP (540 kW) thanks to supercharging. A modified variant of the 2.3 liter unit will also become available. The RTR Spec 2 will bring the cold air intake system, lowering springs, sway bars, adjustable dampers, Magnaflow bespoke exhaust system and so on. The 2015 Ford Mustang RTR will become available at Ford dealers worldwide starting from January, next year.
