2015 Ford Mustang to be used in Need for Speed movie image

The highly-anticipated Need for Speed movie will use the new generation of the Ford Mustang in it, as well as other brand new or iconic exotic cars.

Based on the Electronic Arts (EA) video game series, the Need for Speed movie is just around the corner and info on it keeps popping up. The latest details are saying that the 2015 Ford Mustang will also be used in the movie, where it will be driven by Aaron Paul, the Breaking Bad actor. The Need for Speed movie will arrive on the big screen on the 14th of March and it will also mark the first on-screen appearance of the new Mustang generation.

The 2015 Ford Mustang has received a new and aggressive design, with a trapezoidal grille, slender headlights, steeply raked windscreen, fastback roof, sculpted hood, wider rear fenders and tri-bar taillights with sequential turn signals. Power to the model is being provided, for the first time in history, by a 2.3 liter four-cylinder EcoBoost engine, which is good for 305 HP (227 kW) and 406 Nm (300 lb-ft). This is being offered as the mid-range version, while the entry-level is getting a 3.7L V6, with 300 HP (223 kW) and 365 Nm (270 lb-ft) of torque. The top of the line variant is coming with a 420 HP (313 kW) and 528 Nm (390 lb-ft) 5.0 liter V8.
