The North American based automaker Ford has recently announced its plans to officially pull the wraps off the new Mustang generation during the Good Morning America, on the 5th of December, at 12:01 AM.
After testing the car numerous times and with the vehicle even leaking in a few official images, the new generation of the Ford Mustang is extremely close to making its world debut and to arriving into the company’s dealerships and to its future owners. According to the car manufacturer, the 2015 Ford Mustang will be officially unveiled, at 12:01 AM, on the 5th of December, during Good Morning America. The reveal will take place in Times Square and this will be the first time when the public will get the chance to see it up close.
Rumors are saying that the new generation of the popular muscle car will be powered by a 2.4 liter inline four-cylinder EcoBoost unit, for the first time in history, which will produce an impressive 310 HP and 310 lb-ft of torque, being rated at 22 / 32 mpg in city / highway. Besides the small unit, the company will be also offering the 300 HP and 290 lb-ft of torque 3.8 liter V5 unit, rated at 19/29mpg, along with the long awaited 4.9 liter V8, which should be good for 430 HP and 396 lb-ft of torque and an estimated 18/28 mpg.
