New renderings with a four-door version of the new Ford Mustang generation have ended up on the web but don’t get your hopes too high if you’re waiting for such a vehicle.
The North American based automaker Ford is rumored to consider some frugal powertrains for the new Mustang generation but the outgoing version will not receive anything extra than what is already available. Adding some new engines to a facelifted variant, or even to a new generation, would probably mean that Ford will consider a sedan version of the model too, with four doors, which has the possibility of becoming a rival for the Dodge Charger. Keep in mind that the images posted below are renderings signed by Theophilus Chin.
The 2015 Ford Mustang is currently being offered with a choice of three engines, a 3.7 liter V6, producing 300 HP (223 kW) and 365 Nm (270 lb-ft) of torque, a 2.3 liter four-cylinder EcoBoost, with 305 HP (227 kW) and 406 Nm (300 lb-ft) of torque, and a 420 HP (313 kW) and 528 Nm (390 lb-ft) 5.0 liter V8, offered as the top of the line variant. A total of 10 colors are available for the new Mustang generation, along with a choice of 18-inch, 19-inch glossy of 19-inch premium wheels.
