Jeep has shown the Cherokee KrawLer concept and the Wrangler Rubicon Sunriser concept at the 2015 Frankfurt Motor Show.
Jeep has taken the German automotive event by storm with two brand new concept vehicles, the Cherokee KrawLer and the Wrangler Rubicon Sunriser. The first one is bringing a raised suspension system, a Matte Green exterior design, a black hood decal, silver mirror caps, extended fender flares, skid plates and the BF Goodrich KM2 off-road tires. Under its hood we can find the 3.2 liter Pentastar engine which is putting down a total of 272 HP (200 kW), sent to the Active Drive Lock four-wheel drive system through a 9-speed automatic transmission.
The other one-off vehicle shown in Frankfurt is called the Wrangler Rubicon Sunriser. This is bringing the Matte Orange exterior finish, the 4-inch suspension lift, the off-road bumpers, the rock rails and more. On top of these, the Jeep concept has been also fitted with a slightly revised interior which is bringing the matte fluorescent orange accents, the black leather seats and others. The LED headlights can also be mentioned, along with the beadlock wheels with off-road tires and the front skid plate.
Under its hood, the carmaker has added a 2.8 liter CRD engine, which is connected to a 5-speed automatic transmission. No performance details or plans of putting these two concepts into production have been announced so far.
