Hyundai has brought one of its latest concept cars, the Vision G, at the 2015 Frankfurt Motor Show, for its European debut.
The brand new Hyundai Vision G Concept has been shown at the 2015 Frankfurt Motor Show. The model in question is said to preview the future design language of the South Korean based company and it will also give us a glimpse into the future premium cars.
“Vision G is the first high-end premium coupe by Hyundai Motor. Despite its bold and powerful styling, the concept is purposefully understated, creating a balance of opulence and elegance that will resonate with customers who seek style without pretention”, said the president and chief design officer from Hyundai, Peter Schreyer.
The model has an imposing exterior design with soft lines, a rakish windscreen, a sloping roof line, a large front grille, slender headlights and stylish taillights. The one-off car is riding on large multi-spoke alloy wheels and it is also bringing an extremely luxurious interior design. Some say that this might be Hyundai’s answer to models such as the Mercedes-Benz S-Class Coupe, but until we will see it in production, we won’t believe it.
The latest interior tech has been added to the cabin and these include the touch sensitive panel with gesture interaction to control the infotainment system, the Curved Display digital, Remote Wheel control panel and so on. The carmaker also says that this is bringing the Autonomous Driving system, the Driver State Monitoring and other goodies as well. At its heart, Hyundai has made use of a 5.0 liter Tau V8 engine, which is good for 420 HP at 6,000 rpm and 383 lb-ft of torque, available at 5,000 rpm.
