Following a couple of teaser images, the new Mercedes-Benz IAA Concept has made its debut at the 2015 Frankfurt Motor Show.
The newest creation signed by Mercedes-Benz is also an extremely revolutionary one and, besides this, it is also offering a preview of the next generation luxury models of the German based brand, which will include the CLS And the next S-Class. The design of the model is focusing on improved aerodynamics and this has a drag coefficient of only 0.19, a figure achieved thanks to the active electric aero panels at the front and rear, which are boosting its length by 390 mm.
The interior design of the brand new Mercedes-Benz IAA Concept is bringing four separate seats and a dashboard with a familiar configuration. This has the four round center air vents along with a big display. In the cabin we can also find two additional screens, one for the climate control and one for the live engine data, along with the gesture control pads.
Under its hood, the new Intelligent Aerodynamic Car is featuring a petrol electric hybrid system, which is capable of putting down a total of 274 HP. The fully electric range stands at 32 km (20 miles) and top speed is 250 km/h (155 mph). The CO2 emissions are 28 g/km. More details on the impressive ride are limited at this point but you can check it out in the photo gallery posted below.
