Opel has debuted the new Vivaro Surf Concept at the 2015 Frankfurt Motor Show.
The Opel Vivaro Surf Concept has made its public debut at the German automotive event, after being shown online a few days earlier. The one-off vehicle is aimed for large groups of friends or families who enjoy a variety of sports and it can host up to six passengers and it is bringing the copper brown and white exterior finish, Irmscher alloy wheels, an interior modified by Snoeks Automotive and the ability to transport voluminous cargo such as surfboards, snowboards, skiing equipment, bikes and so on.
Opel says that the total weight of the vehicle is 2,900 kg and it has the bespoke surfboard bracket on the roof, a full-width storage box under the second row of seats, versatile floor with a rail system, keyless function for the tailgate and doors, Opel Navi 50 IntelliLink infotainment system with a 7-inch touch screen display, Bluetooth, navigation, Siri Eyes Free, Wi-Fi hotspot, park assist, side electric folding mirrors, rain and light sensors, LED DRLs, heated front seats and others. Under its hood it has a BiTurbo CDTI engine, rated at 140 HP (103 kW) and 340 Nm (251 lb-ft) of torque. Top speed of the one-off model stands at 180 km/h (112 mph) and the average fuel consumption is 6.1L / 100km (46.3 mpg UK / 38.5 mpg US), with CO2 emissions stopping at 160 g/km.
