The brand new Sedan Concept has been officially unveiled by Thunder Power during the 2015 Frankfurt Motor Show.
The model in question has been designed to preview the 2017 production car and it is bringing a curvaceous design by Zagato which is making its rear end look like a beefed up Mercedes-Benz S-Class and its front fascia like a Maserati. Some of the features found on it include the LED headlights, the integrated rear spoiler, oval-shaped grille and so on.
The cabin of the one-off car has the premium leather upholstery, the TP-Touch system which is combining the instrument cluster and infotainment system, running across the width of the dashboard, the wood trim and metal accents, amongst others. The Thunder Power Sedan Concept is running on a platform which is using lightweight materials which is said to be able to underpin everything from compact cars to large crossovers.
The vehicle is said to get an electric motor, in the entry-level version, which can develop 312 HP (230 kW) and 320 Nm (236 lb-ft) of torque, enough for a 0 to 100 km/h (62 mph) sprint made in less than 6 seconds and a top speed of 210 km/h (130 mph). There will also be a hotter version, coming with 435 HP (320 kW) and 560 Nm (413 lb-ft) of torque, capable of accelerating from 0 to 100 km/h (62 mph) in less than 5 seconds and going up to a top speed of 250 km/h (155 mph).
