Toyota has presented, during the 2015 Frankfurt Motor Show, a new special edition of the Aygo, the X-Clusiv.
Sharing its space with much more important models produced in Japan, the Toyota Aygo X-clusiv Edition has almost gone by unseen. The model in question is brigning the Electro Grey exterior finish with the black canvas roof and the Silver Sparkle accents. The small city car can also get the tinted rear windows, the chrome belt line trim and the 15-inch five-spoke alloy wheels, amongst others.
“From its iconic frontal ‘X’ design to its extensive range of customization options, all styling and engineering decisions for the latest AYGO have been specifically made with fun in mind. The line-up consists of three grades -x, x-play and x-wave- and three special editions -x-cite, x-clusiv and x-pure, which are being updated on an annual basis”, says the automaker in its press release.
Besides the above mentioned items, we can also tell you that the interior design has been mostly carried over but this has also received the Electro Grey and the Silver Sparkle trim, along with the special floor mats and the chrome door handles. Under its hood, the brand new Toyota Aygo X-clusiv is making use of a 1.0 liter three-cylinder VVT-I petrol burner, which is capable of putting down a total of 69 HP (51 kW) and 95 Nm (70 lb-ft) of torque. The unit can be connected to a manual or an automated manual transmission. No pricing details have been announced so far.
