Kia has officially unveiled the Cee’d GT Line at the 85th edition of the Geneva Motor Show as it will be offered for sale close to the end of this year.
The newest addition to the Kia Cee’d lineup is the Cee’d GT Line. The model in question has been officially presented to the public at the 2015 Geneva Motor Show and it is bringing an appealing design, available for all three body styles, the coupe, the hatchback and the wagon. All versions are adding the ice cube LED daytime running lights, the GT Line specific upholsteries, the aluminum pedals, steering wheel, new start / stop button, chrome trim, piano black accents, illuminated USB and AUX ports and 17-inch alloy wheels, amongst others.
As far as the engine lineup goes, the Kia Cee’d GT Line is coming with the 1.0 liter turbocharged gasoline three-cylinder burner, which is good for 120 HP (88 kW) and 172 Nm (127 lb-ft) of torque. The 1.6 liter CRDi has been updated too and it is now good for 133 HP (98 kW) and 285 Nm (210 lb-ft) of torque, compared to the previous 128 HP and 265 Nm. The unit can now be connected to an optional 7-speed dual clutch transmission. The new Kia Cee’d GT Line is a more affordable version of the hot hatch, adding the visual effects without the more powerful engine. This will be offered for sale in the fourth quarter of 2015 but no pricing details have been made public yet.
