The facelifted version of the Kia Picanto has been introduced recently during the 2015 Geneva Motor Show.
After pulling the wraps off the Sportspace concept, the South Korean based automaker Kia has also introduced a facelifted version of the Picanto, during the same 2015 Geneva Motor Show. The model in question has received some mild cosmetic updates and they include the optional exterior sport pack, which is available for both the 3-door and the 5-door models.
The cabin of the model hasn’t been left unchanged either as this has now received a 7-inch touch screen display for the optional audio video navigation system. Other goodies available for the model include the new cabin color theme, the cruise control with a speed limiter, the fresh upholsteries, the chrome accents for the air vents, the instrument binnacle, the larger 252 mm front brakes compared to the standard 241 mm or the 14-inch alloy wheels covering them, amongst others.
The facelifted version of the Kia Picanto is also getting a revised 1.0 liter MPI petrol burner, which is now meeting the Euro 6 emission standards and it is producing a total of 69 HP. The 2016 Kia Picanto will become available for order on the Old Continent towards the end of this month and it will be put together in its home market, South Korea. Additional details on the model, including its pricing list, are limited for the moment and will probably be announced once this will be offered for sale.
