The new generation of the Ford Focus RS has made its world debut recently at the 2015 Geneva Motor Show, where the hot hatch has been shown.
After being officially unveiled over the web about a month ago, the new generation of the Ford Focus RS is being highlighted these days as the model in question has been officially presented to the public during the 2015 Geneva Motor Show. The newest addition to the compact hot hatch range is wearing the same appealing blue shade, along with the revised styling, the more aggressive body kit highlighted by the front and rear bumpers, the exhaust system with dual pipes, the 19-inch alloy wheels wrapped in 235/35 Michelin tires and several other goodies.
As far as the cabin goes, the new generation of the Ford Focus RS has received the Recaro seats, the 10-speaker sound system signed by Sony, the rearview camera, the SYNC, the bespoke instrument graphics and the alloy pedals, amongst others. The most important part of the new range topping Focus if found under its hood where the engine is resting. This is a 2.3 liter four-cylinder EcoBoost units, from the new generation of the Mustang, which, according to the car manufacturer, is producing a total output of 315 HP (235 kW) and, for the first time ever, is sending power to the all-wheel drive system. Performance details on the new hot hatch still haven’t been announced at this time.
