Audi has introduced the new RS3 Sportback hot hatch at the 2015 Geneva Motor Show.
Hot hatches are keep popping into the 2015 Geneva Motor Show and after seeing the new Ford Focus RS and the Honda Civic Type R, time has come to check out the Audi RS3 Sportback. The German vehicle is the top of the line version of the A3 and it is instantly recognizable as it has received a new body kit with a new front bumper, a new rear bumper, the Quattro front grille, the larger air intakes, the rear diffuser, the aluminum side mirror caps and so on. The model is also getting 19-inch alloy wheels covering the high performance brakes, a sport tuned suspension system and a dual exhaust.
The cabin of the new Audi RS3 Sportback has been upgraded too and this has received Aluminum race or carbon fiber trim, a flat bottom steering wheel, Nappa leather sport seats with contrast stitching and so on. Under its hood, we can find the 2.5 liter five-cylinder petrol engine, which is producing a total output of 367 HP (270 kW) and it has a peak torque of 465 Nm (342 lb-ft). The unit is connected to a 7-speed S tronic transmission, sending power to the Quattro all-wheel drive and allowing the hot hatch to reach 100 km/h (62 mph) from a standstill in just 4.3 seconds before reaching an electronically limited top speed of 250 km/h (155 mph), which can be raised to 280 km/h (174 mph) upon request.
