2015 Geneva Motor Show LIVE: BMW X6 by Hamann image

The famous BMW tuner Hamann has recently created an upgrade package for the new generation of the X6 as this has been officially presented to the public during the 2015 Geneva Motor Show.

The BMW X6 is not exactly an easy ride to work with if you are a tuner but if your company is named Hamann, chances are the modified product will look even better than the original one. The famous tuner has worked its magic on the new generation of the German SAV and we recently had a close look at the model in question as this has been on display at the Swiss automotive event.

From the start we can notice that this isn’t your average BMW X6 but it is in the impressive M50d version, meaning that it has a powerful tri-turbocharged diesel engine under its hood. The exterior design of the model is bringing new BMW front grille, a new lower bumper with a deeper air intake with integrated LED lights, flared arches for the fenders, a new style of air vent and brand new side skirts.

Hamann says that there are a total of two sets of wheels available for its BMW X6 package, which can be either 22- or 23-inch in size, wrapped in Vredestein Ultrac Vorti or in Pirelli P Zero Nero tires. The tracks have been widened by 12 mm at the front and by 30 mm at the rear and modifications have stopped here. No pricing details on the upgrade package have been announced at this time.
