During the 2015 edition of the Geneva Motor Show the Romanian brand Dacia – owned by Renault – has opted to celebrate in style the 10th anniversary of its launch in western Europe.
The Romanian car brand has a long history – intertwined with the one of its current French parent – but it’s been a very small period, just a decade, since the automaker also made inroads on the crucial European markets – reaching the top players in the west (Germany, France and event he United Kingdom). To celebrate properly the timeline, the brand has revealed limited-edition versions of almost its entire range. The 10th anniversary limited-edition variants will be offered for the Duster, Sandero, Lodgy, Dokker, Logan and Logan MCV – the only car left out is the commercial Dokker Van. The carmaker already launched a special edition of the Logan model – specifically for the Romanian market – and has now opted to share the celebration with the rest of Europe.
The new Duster 10th anniversary limited-edition model will be garnished with exclusive design tweaks, with the special Cosmos Blue paint finish (a color traditionally associated with the brand) and the new Dacia Media Nav Evolution multimedia and navigation system. For the exterior we might mention the Dark Metal alloy wheels and door mirror housings. Blue touches are also present inside, with Sombre Blue touches for the upholstery and grey top-stitching and blue-hued seat belts. There are also anniversary blue-edged floor mats. All limited edition are based on the Laureate top trim, which includes climate control, cruise control with speed limiter, an exclusive leather-trimmed steering wheel and that new Dacia Media Nav Evolution infotainment solution.
