The newest addition to the Koenigsegg hypercar lineup is called the Agera RS and this has been officially presented to the public during the 2015 Geneva Motor Show, in a world premiere.
After being teased a couple of times these past few weeks, the brand new Koenigsegg Agera RS is being placed into the spotlights once again, this time after the car manufacturer has officially pulled the wraps off its body, in a world premiere, during the 2015 Geneva Motor Show. The brand new hypercar has a full carbon fiber body and it is sharing some of the details with its more powerful brother, the One:1, while the front bumper has been redesigned, there is a new small fin at the bottom of the side sills, a new rear wing with new end plates has been added along with several other tweaks.
The most important part of the Koenigsegg Agera RS is found under its hood, where the modified 5.0 liter biturbo V8 engine is resting. If we thought before that this will be the second megacar, its power is taking us by surprise and we will “just” call it a “hypercar” because it is producing a total output of 1,160 HP (853 kW) at 7,800 rpm and it has a peak torque of 1,280 Nm (945 lb-ft) of torque, available at 4,100 rpm. The total weight of the vehicle stands at 1,395 kg which is making it 40 kg lighter than the Agera R and 35 kg heavier than the One:1. No performance details have been announced at this time.
