The Lamborghini Aventador Super Veloce is the newest addition to the “raging bull” lineup as this has made its world debut at the 2015 Geneva Motor Show.
Lamborghini has managed to keep the brand new Aventador SV a secret until its big reveal at the 2015 Geneva Motor Show, except for a brochure which has shown it partially. The newest Italian supercar is following the same path as the Miura SV, as the Diablo SV and as the Murcielago SV and it’s instantly recognizable as a Super Veloce.
The flagship model is wearing a yellow paint on its body and it is coming with several aerodynamic enhancements which, besides making it look different and quite aggressive, they serve a major role of cutting down on its weight. Speaking of its weight, you should know that the Aventador SV is now 50 kg lighter than the regular supercar and it stands in at 1,525 kg.
If you are not impressed with these figures, than the aerodynamic efficiency should do the trick considering the fact that it has increased with 150 percent compared to the standard Aventador. This means 170 percent extra downforce thanks to the aggressive body kit and this will help it sprint to 100 km/h (62 mph) faster.
The same 6.5 liter V12 naturally aspirated engine is found under its hood but this has received a minor boost of 50 HP, translating into a total of 750 HP (552 kW). From 0 to 100 km/h (62 mph), the supercar needs 2.8 seconds, which is making it 0.1 seconds faster than the regular Aventador. The model will go on sale in Europe this spring and it will start from 327,190 EUR. More details on it are limited at this time.
