The European premiere of the Mercedes-Benz GLE 450 AMG Coupe has been made recently during the 2015 Geneva Motor Show.
After it was officially presented to the public at the 2015 NAIAS, in Detroit, a couple of months ago, the new Mercedes-Benz GLE 450 AMG Coupe has also made its European premiere, during the 2015 Geneva Motor Show. The model in question is aimed towards customers who aren’t interested in the real AMG version, which has been also unveiled, but still want to travel in style.
This is packing an aggressive body kit, 21-inch lightweight wheels, an automatic lowering function reducing the ride height at high speeds, adaptive damping system, AIRMATIC suspension, stainless steel pedals in the cabin, sports steering wheel wrapped in Nappa leather, carbon fiber trim, piano black accents, revised instrumentation showing the lateral and longitudinal acceleration and several other tweaks.
Under its hood, the 3.0 liter V6 engine is found which is capable of producing a total output of 362 HP (270 kW), with a peak torque of 520 Nm (383 lb-ft). Mercedes says that the model in question is coming with an all-wheel drive system and the 9-speed automatic transmission. More details on it, including performance specifications and pricing list will be announced in the months to come, as the company is keeping them into the shadows at this time.
