The Nissan Sway Concept has been introduced in Geneva recently and this is offering a preview of the next Micra generation.
Nissan is present at the 2015 Geneva Motor Show with the brand new Sway Concept. This is a one-off vehicle with a radical design which is offering a preview of the next sub-compact Micra generation. The concept car stands at 4, 010 mm in length, 1, 780 in width and 1,385 mm in height, sitting on a 2,570 mm wheelbase long. Speaking on its design, the model in question has the familiar V-motion grille with the sharp LED headlights, strips of LED daytime running lights in the front bumper, the sculpted hood and so on.
The same design is being continued towards the rear where we can find the floating roof, the rear hinged back doors, the missing B pillar, the LED taillights with a boomerang shape and the trapezoidal exhaust system which has been incorporated into the rear bumper. The cabin of the new Nissan Sway Concept is inspired by the IDx concept cars and it has the exposed aluminum structure for the lightweight seats, wrapped in suede-like fabric with some special stitching. As far as performance goes, we are not sure at this time what is found under the hood of the one-off vehicle because the carmaker hasn’t released and specifications. The Nissan Sway is said to serve as a preview for the next Micra generation which should be unveiled in 2016. This will be produced at a Renault plant, near Paris.
