The public debut of the brand new Radical RXC Turbo 500 has been made at the 2015 Geneva Motor Show.
The newest British sports car is the Radical RXC Turbo 500 and this has been officially presented to the public at the 2015 Geneva Motor Show. This is hoping to become the fastest road legal car to go around the famous Nurburgring track and it is said to be the most track-focused car to date. The lap record of 6:48 for the Ring is currently held by the Radical SR8 LM but the new RXC Turbo 500 is expected to shatter it.
The Radical RXC Turbo 500 has been created over the course of five years and this is a road-legal track car unlike any others, as the company is stating. It has a unique design which cannot be really called practical but this is still going to attract some petrol heads considering the fact that you don’t need a tow truck in order to take it to the track.
The model in question is packing in a total output of 530 HP, at 6,100 rpm, and it has a peak torque of 481 lb-ft, available at 5,000 rpm. This is translated into a power-to-weight ratio of 462 HP per tonne and the model can reach an impressive 100 mph (160 km/h) in just 6.8 seconds. More details on the RXC Turbo 500 are limited for the moment and will probably be announced over the next few weeks. Meanwhile you can check it out in the photo gallery posted below.
