Tuning powerhouse ABT Sportsline has been busy bringing all of its novelties at the 2015 edition of the Geneva Motor Show, including the latest packages for the all new Audi TT coupe and the family-oriented VW Passat.
ABT Sportsline unveiled their first tuning program for the brand new generation of the Audi TT coupe back in the autumn of 2014 in time for the Essen Motor Show. The engineers focused on the entry-level four-cylinder 2.0 TFSI engine that jumped from the series 230 HP (169 kW) and 370 Nm (272 lb-ft) to 310 HP (228 kW) and 440 Nm (324 lb-ft) of torque. The enhanced capabilities are highlighted by the upgraded looks, which include among others a new front skirt, revised mirror caps and a fixed rear wing at the back. The finishing touch is the custom quad exhaust system with black end pipes.
Moving on to the fresher VW Passat, the tuning specialists are officially premiering the program at the Geneva auto show, upgrading the looks of the standard model for a dynamic appearance. The aerodynamic body kit has a new front lip spoiler, tweaked side skirts and a tailgate-positioned spoiler. Buyers can also have new mirror caps, sport springs and a sports exhaust system. Performance has also been enhanced, with the 2.0-liter TDI four-cylinder engine retuned to develop 280 PS (206 kW) jumping 40 PS (29 kW) above the standard models’ level. There are also available ABT-branded floor mats for the interior and 20 or 21-inch rims complete with Continental sport tires.
