The Seat Leon ST Cupra has been brought by the Spanish based automaker to the 2015 Geneva Motor Show.
Being showcased alongside the crossover concept, the Seat Leon ST Cupra has managed to attract a lot of curious eyes to it. This is a hot wagon which is bringing a slightly more aggressive body, the Dynamic Chassis Control system, the 18-inch alloy wheels with 19-inch available for the 280 version, the front axle differential lock, the LED ambient lighting, the Media System Plus infotainment system, the LED headlights and taillights, the roof mounted spoiler for the 280 and several other goodies which will help the model stand out from a crowd.
The brand new Seat Leon ST Cupra is offered with the same engine in the same configurations as its coupe and hatchback brothers, which is the 2.0 liter four-cylinder gasoline burner, rated at 265 HP (195 kW) And 280 HP (206 kW). In both cases, the torque figure stands at 350 Nm (258 lb-ft). In the range topping 280 HP version, the 0 to 100 km/h (62 mph) sprint takes just 6 seconds with the optional DSG and 6.1 seconds with the manual transmission, with the top speed being electronically limited to 250 km/h (155 mph) in both cases. The 265 HP variant is 0.1s slower to 100 km/h. The Seat Leon ST Cupra will hit dealerships on the Old Continent in the following months and more details on it will be announced closer to this date.
