In between fighting a recall war and developing new models, General Motors has managed to pull the wraps off the 2015 GMC Sierra All Terrain HD.
According to the North American based automaker, this is basically a package for the 2500 HP / 3500 HP double cab and crew cab models which have been equipped with four-wheel drive. It can easily stand out from a crowd thanks to its special badging, to the chrome grille surround, to the aluminum underbody shields, to the body colored bumpers, the chrome mirror caps, the LED infused headlights or the 18-inch unique aluminum wheels.
The cabin of the 2015 GMC Sierra All Terrain HD is now getting a so-called “carbon fiber inspired theme”, an IntelliLink infotainment system, special door sill plates and some other tweaks. The vehicle is also coming with the Ranch twin-tube shocks, with the Z71 Off Road Package and with Hill Descent Control. As far as the engine goes, power is being provided by a 322 HP (240 kW) and 515 Nm (380 lb-ft) of torque 6.0 liter Vortec V8 engine, or by a 6.6 liter Duramax V8 diesel, with 397 HP (296 kW) and 1,037 Nm (765 lb-ft) of torque.
