The 2015 Hyundai Genesis has been awarded with the IIHS Top Safety Pick+ rating after being crash tested recently.
Safety should be a main concern whenever buying a brand new car and depending on your budget, you should be looking for vehicles rated good. If you have your eyes on the brand new 2015 Hyundai Genesis, than you should head over to the nearest dealership and place a deposit for it, because the model in question has been recently awarded with the IIHS Top Safety Pick+. The vehicle earned a “Good” rating in the small overlap crash test.
“The TOP SAFETY PICK+ designation recognizes state-of-the-art safety. The new Genesis is not only engineered to protect people when crashes happen, but with its optional automatic emergency braking system rated superior in our tests, this car can help drivers avoid some of the most common kinds of collisions altogether”, said Adrian Lund, the IIHS president.
The 2015 Hyundai Genesis has been equipped with the AEB (automatic emergency braking), LDW (lane departure warning) with LKA (lane keep assist), a driver adjustable level of steering assist and it has many more “goodies”. Power is coming from a 311 HP (232 kW) and 397 Nm (293 lb-ft) of torque 3.8 liter Lambda engine, or from a 420 HP (313 kW) and 519 Nm (383 lb-ft) of torque 5.0 liter Tau V8 engine. Both engines are mated to an 8-speed automatic transmission.
