Hyundai has officially announced the pricing details of the 2015 i20 for the United Kingdom, where the model has gone on sale today (January, 22, 2015).
The new generation of the Hyundai i20 is now available for order across the United Kingdom, as the car manufacturer has officially announced. The model in question is starting in from 10,695 GBP, on the road, being cheaper than an entry-level Volkswagen Polo which, in the UK, costs 11,250 GBP. Besides being more expensive, the Polo cannot match the standard features offered by its South Korean rival, so there you have it, two reasons to check it out.
“New Generation i20 is a true competitor in Britain’s most popular vehicle segment. It ticks all the right boxes for fleets and businesses, as well as catering to the needs and tastes of discerning retail customers. The quality, features and specification of this car speak for itself, and we are delighted that this has been demonstrated in the form of strong residual value predictions which are among the best in class”, said the Hyundai Motor UK president and CEO, Tony Whitehorn.
The 2015 Hyundai i20 S is the entry-level versions, packing in a 75 HP 1.2 liter four-cylinder engine, but this isn’t offering air conditioning, so for this minimum feature, you will have to choose the i20 S Air, which starts from 11,445 GBP. For some extra cash, you will be able to order the 3-cylinder 1.1 liter diesel with 75 HP, on the S Blue variant. Moving up the range you will find the i20 SE, which is bringing a 1.2L engine with 84 HP for 12,752 GBP, and for 14,725 GBP the 1.4 CRDI, with 90 HP, becomes available.
