Hyundai has officially presented a new member of the Sonata family, the 2015 Sonata Eco, which is coming in at 23, 275 USD, without the 810 USD destination charge.
The 2015 Hyundai Sonata Eco has been officially introduced by the South Korean based automaker as the model in question is coming with standard features such as the 5-inch touch screen display, the rearview camera, the Blue Link telematics, the ten-way power driver’s seat with lumbar support, the interior chrome door handles, the automatic headlights, side mirror mounted indicators, chromed front grille and several other tweaks.
For an extra 4,100 USD, customers can also have the Technology Package, which is adding the dual zone climate control, the 8-inch navigation touch screen display, blind spot detection, lane change assist, exterior chrome handles and more. Power is being provided by a 1.6 liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine, which is producing a total output of 177 HP (132 kW) and 264 Nm (195 lb-ft) of torque. The unit is connected to a new 7-speed dual clutch transmission. The model is returning 28 / 38 in city / highway. Production will begin this summer at the Alabama facility and the entry-level version will set you back for 23,275 USD.
