A prototype of the new Kia Sorento generation has been recently spied while it was being tested in cold weather, in Scandinavia.
The South Korean based automaker Kia is currently getting ready to officially pull the wraps off a new Sorento generation, but before the model will be unveiled and seen in the dealerships, the company has to make sure that everything is in its right place and working just like it should, so a new testing session of the mid-size SUV has been caught on camera by our spy photographers, revealing the model’s prototype, with a lot of camouflage on its body, while being tested in Northern Europe.
The 2015 Kia Sorento will grow in size, compared to the current model, and this will be translated into more space inside the cabin, especially for the rear passengers, who will benefit from some additional legroom. As far as the engine lineup goes, chances are the new Kia Sorento generation will probably bump output of the 2.4 liter GDi and 3.3 liter V6 GDi and introduce a hybrid variant. More details on the 2015 Kia Sorento are limited for the moment and will probably be announced once the model will be officially unveiled.
