Our spy photographers have managed to capture on camera the upcoming Land Rover Freelander, in the hot RS version, which is said to be unveiled later on this year.
The brand new Land Rover Freelander, or the Baby Discovery as it is also being known, is being placed into the spotlights once again, this time with the help of some more spy photos, which are partially revealing a prototype in the hot RS version. This is basically a test mule made from a modified Evoque body so the final production version of this model may be quite different than what we are looking at here.
The 2015 Land Rover Freelander RS is believed to get a sportier look, thanks to the larger air intakes, new front and rear bumpers, a base color with a lot of black elements such as the ones on the roof, side mirrors, side skirts and rear lip spoiler. In the cabin, we expect some sport seats, stainless steel and carbon fiber trim and a lot of sporty updates. There will also be a modified suspension system, an updated braking system and larger wheels. The engine is believed to be a 2.0 liter turbocharged with approximately 300 HP. More details on it are limited for the moment.
