Our spy photographers have managed to capture the new generation of the Land Rover Freelander on camera once again, while it was being tested in Scandinavia, in cold weather conditions.
The 2015 Land Rover Freelander, or the “Baby Discovery”, as it is also being known, is ending up in our news once again, after it was spied several times, this time in more spy pictures, which have been provided by our photographers. The model in question is getting ready for its future customers, but until it will be officially unveiled and found in the showrooms, the company has to make sure that everything is in its place and working just like it should.
The brand new Land Rover Freelander will be significantly larger than its predecessor and it will be riding on the same platform which underpins the Range Rover Evoque, in its five-door body style. The looks of the Land Rover Baby Discovery has been heavily influenced by the ones of the new Range Rover Sport or the Evoque, and we can see the sweptback headlights, the prominent front grille, the sloping roofline, the tailgate mounted spoiler, the dual exhaust system and more. The engine options will probably include a 150 HP 2.20L diesel, a 190 HP 2.20L diesel or a 240 HP 2.0L petrol.
