Our spy photographers have managed to catch the 2015 Mercedes-Benz C-Class Estate on camera while it was being tested in the mountains.
With the new generation of the BMW 3-Series already out, in almost all versions, the model’s main rival, the Mercedes-Benz C-Class, is getting ready to receive a brand new variant, which is believed to make its way onto the market sometimes next year. Our spy photographers have managed to snap a test mule on camera on a public road and, even if it’s wrapped in camouflage, the model in question is still revealing some of its lines.
The 2015 Mercedes-Benz C-Class will receive a new body style, which will make it look similar to newer models in the company’s lineup, like its smaller brother, the CLA, or even the brand new S-Class. Speaking of the flagship sedan is no surprise because the new S-Class generation will “lend” some of its technologies to the upcoming C-Class. As far as the engine lineup goes, we are expecting four- and six-cylinder units, including the anticipated 1.6 liter dCi, produced by Renault, which is believed to be sold as an entry-level version. 4MATIC AWD will become available on higher end versions. Additional details on the model are limited and will be announced close to its launch, next year.
