The C63 AMG version of the newly unveiled Mercedes-Benz C-Class has been recently spied while it was being tested.
The German based automaker Mercedes-Benz is working on the new C63 AMG as the powerful four-door sedan has been caught on camera by our spy photographers. The design of the new model is similar to the one of the 2015 C-Class except for some modifications made to the front and rear end of the car, to the fenders and, of course, to the wheels, which are signed by AMG. The model in question will get bigger air intakes and some modifications made to its cabin.
As far as the engine goes, the 6.3 liter naturally aspirated V8 will be swapped for a 5.5 liter twin turbo V8, the same one used on the new AMG family. The M157 unit has a 5,461 cc displacement and it will come with 525 HP in its base configuration. Other technical modifications include the upgraded braking system, the new suspension and the new exhaust. The 2015 Mercedes-Benz C63 AMG will be officially unveiled this year and the company will probably chose the 2014 Paris Motor Show for the unveil, which will open its gates in October. More details on the model remain unknown for the moment.
