The Japanese based automaker Mitsubishi has officially pulled the wraps off the 2015 Triton which will be going on sale in approximately 150 countries, in the near future.
The 2015 Mitsubishi Triton has been officially unveiled. The carmaker says that it is only available at the moment in Thailand but in the near future, it will be going on sale in another 150 countries. The model in question has been previewed by the GR-HEV Concept and it is coming with a familiar design, with a prominent front grille, LED infused headlights, a uniquely shaped bed, a curvaceous body work and several other tweaks.
The interior design of the pickup truck is coming with different variants of leather upholstery, with metallic accents, gloss black trim, a rotary four-wheel drive controller, a 3-spoke steering wheel, a 7-inch display for the infotainment system and so on. As far as the engine lineup goes, this includes a petrol burner, with 128 HP (94 kW) and 194 Nm (143 lb-ft) of torque, along with a 181 HP (133 kW) and 430 Nm (317 lb-ft) of torque turbo diesel, with a 128 HP (94 kW) and 240 Nm (177 lb-ft) 2.5 liter turbo diesel and a 2.5L turbo diesel with 178 HP (131 kW) and 400 Nm (295 lb-ft). These can be connected to a 5-speed manual, a 6-speed manual or a 5-speed automatic transmission.
