2015 NAIAS: Bentley Bentayga SUV teased image

Bentley has used the 2015 North American International Auto Show in order to tease its upcoming SUV, the so-called Bentayga.

This is not the first time when we hear the Bentayga name as the model in question has been rumored to be called like this back in late 2014. If you were concerned that the vehicle would not be hitting the market, think again, because this has been teased out once again, during the 2015 North American International Auto Show (NAIAS) in Detroit and it should be officially unveiled later on this year.

The new Bentley Bentayga should become a benchmark in the luxury SUV segment and the most important feature of it is that this should work both on the road and off road. From the previous spy shots, we noticed that the SUV will be getting a prominent front grille which will be flanked by the circular headlights, which is basically the company’s trademark. The exterior design will make it instantly recognizable as a Bentley and its cabin will be offered with circular air vents, with a digital instrument cluster, wood trim, metallic accents and premium leather upholstery.

The model is expected to ride on the MLB Evo platform and it should get a 4.0 liter twin turbo V8 turbo engine, along with the 6.0 liter W12. Rumor has it that the carmaker will also offer a hybrid or plug-in hybrid version of the model too, but this should hit the market later than the standard one. More details on the brand new Bentley Bentayga are limited at this time and will be announced later on this year, probably in Frankfurt, where the model should be unveiled.
