2015 NAIAS: Infiniti Q60 Concept image

The Infiniti Q60 Concept has finally made its public debut at the 2015 NAIAS, in Detroit, in a world premiere.

The future rival of the BMW 4-Series is being highlighted once again, this time with its public debut being made at the 2015 North American International Auto Show, in Detroit. The model in question is a sleek and elegant looking two-door fastback, which has been inspired in its creation by the Q50 Eau Rouge and by the Q80 Inspiration concepts. Infiniti says that the model will be 4,690 mm long, 1,865 mm wide and 1,370 mm tall.

The model has received a prominent front grille, flanked by the headlights, a low roofline, stylish taillights and 21-inch alloy wheels. The interior design of the one-off car has received premium materials, hand stitched leather covered steering wheel, leather wrapped black and white instrument panel and door inserts, a variety of leathers for the seats, bucket seats for the rear passengers and several other goodies.

Under the hood, we can find the brand new 3.0 liter twin turbo V6 engine, which is benefiting from direct injection. However, Nissan’s luxury brand hasn’t announced any performance details on the model just yet, but these will probably be made public during the same 2015 NAIAS, in Detroit, over the next few days. Meanwhile, you can check out the model in the photo gallery which has been posted below. Production of the car should begin sometimes in 2017.
