The Smart ForTwo Edition Flagship Cabrio has been officially introduced at the 2015 NAIAS, as its deliveries will begin this April.
The newest version of the Smart ForTwo is actually a special edition of the model, which has been called the ForTwo Edition Flagship Cabrio. The model in question is probably one of the last special editions to be based on the outgoing model and it has been officially introduced at the 2015 North American International Auto Show (NAIAS), in Detroit. The small vehicle can be ordered in deep black or matte crystal white paint and it is also getting the lava orange tridion safety cell and side mirror housings, along with a 3-spoke black wheel design with the lava orange hub covers, the H7 projection headlights, black front grille and several other goodies.
The interior design of the car has been fitted with black leather seats, with a 3-spoke sports steering wheel covered in leather, unique floor mats and so on. As far as the engine goes, the cheapest version, priced at 17,580 euros, can be had with a 1.0 liter naturally aspirated unit, with 71 HP (52 kW), while the turbocharged version, with 84 HP (62 kW), starts from 18,150 euros. The electric version will begin from “just” 22,995 euros. Deliveries of the Smart ForTwo Edition Flagship Cabrio will begin, worldwide, this April, but the new generation of the ForTwo Cabrio is expected to be introduced by the end of 2015.
