The Rolls-Royce Wraith Inspired by Film special edition has made its public debut recently, during the 2015 New York Auto Show, in a premiere.
The British based automaker Rolls-Royce has recently had its launch film for the Wraith accepted into the British Institute’s National Archive so the company is currently celebrating this success by introducing a special edition of the impressive model. This has been called the Wraith Inspired by Film special edition and it has been officially presented to the public attending the 2015 New York Auto Show.
“We are delighted to see Rolls-Royce’s Wraith launch film enter the BFI’s collection. We selected it for preservation as it is an outstanding and award-winning example of modern corporate promotional filmmaking. It’s a powerful use of the film medium for product launch purposes, executed with impeccable craftsmanship”, said Patrick Russell, the BFI’s senior Curator for Non-Fiction Films.
The new Rolls-Royce Wraith Inspired by Film special edition is getting the Silver and Jubilee Silver exterior design, the solid Spirit of Ecstasy hood ornament, the two-tone Anthracite and Casen Tan interior finishes with the Maccassar Ebony open pore wood and it is taking its power from the 6.6 liter twin turbo V12 engine, which is capable of producing a total output of 624 HP (465 kW) and 800 Nm (590 lb-ft) of torque. The unit is connected to an 8-speed automatic transmission which is allowing the luxury cruiser to reach 100 km/h (62 mph) in 4.6 seconds. No pricing details have been announced at this time.
