Nissan has recently announced its plans to introduce the 2015 Micra this month to Canada, during the 2014 Montreal International Auto Show.
The Nissan Micra is getting ready to return to Canada after a long brake and the model in question will make its local debut between the 17th and the 26th of January, 2014, during the 2014 Montreal International Auto Show. The 2015 Nissan Micra is exactly the same model which is being offered in some European markets and it will become available in three trim levels, the S, the SV and the SR.
“Micra will truly be a car for every Canadian. It’s been specifically designed for this market and has been thoroughly tested right here in Montreal in driving conditions Canadians typically face”, said Christian Muenier, the Nissan Canada president.
The 2015 Nissan Micra will only become available to its future Canadian customers with a single engine. We’re talking about the 1.6 liter four-cylinder unit, which is good for 109 HP and it’s mated to either a four-speed automatic or a five-speed manual transmission. The same engine is also used on the Versa sedan. Besides the 2015 Micra, Nissan will also add the NV200 Taxi and the 2015 Juke Nismo RS to the Canadian automotive event.
