The new generation of the Nissan Qashqai has been recently spied, ahead of its public debut which is expected to take place in early 2014.
The Nissan Qashqai is one of the best-selling vehicle in its segment but after being in production for quite a few years, and receiving a minor facelift not too long ago, time has come for the carmaker to seriously think about developing a new generation. This has just happened as the Japanese based automaker has been recently spotted while testing the 2015 Qashqai. The images posted below have been taken from a long distance and the model in question has been heavily camouflaged.
The 2015 Nissan Qashqai, as it will probably be known, considering the fact that it will be unveiled next year, will get a curvaceous body, a sloping rear end, a prominent front grille, a tailgate mounted spoiler, sweptback headlights and some other tweaks. As for the engine options, the new Qashqai generation will probably receive a 113 HP and 190 Nm of torque 1.2 liter petrol unit, a 1,6 liter diesel and later on, a plug-in hybrid version is expected to make its way onto the market. Additional details on the new Qashqai generation are limited for the moment and will probably be announced close to its debut.
