Only a few days after the new generation of the Opel Corsa has been officially unveiled, the model in question has received the OPC treatment, in the virtual world at least.
The first rendering with the new generation of the Opel Corsa is showing it, as expected, in the OPC “clothing” and we have to admit that its design, which is now more aggressive, is making it look even more appealing. The image posted above has been signed by Hungarian designer X-Tomi (FB) and it was based on the official press photos of the model, which have received a more aggressive front bumper and a new radiator grille.
Changes made to the small car will not stop here as we can also see the redesigned side skirts and the larger wheels. The vehicle will probably get, when it will be developed, a new rear bumper too with a rear diffuser and a rear spoiler. A very good engine option for the Opel Corsa OPC is the 1.6 liter SIDI direct turbo unit, from the Cascada, which is rated at 200 HP (147 kW) and 300 Nm (221 lb-ft) of torque, making it powerful enough to rival the Clio RS or the Fiesta ST. It’s not known for sure whether Opel will develop such a version of the new Corsa.
