The first image with the 2015 Peugeot 508 has recently surfaced online, ahead of the model’s public debut which is scheduled to be made in late 2014.
The brand new Peugeot 508 is ending up in our news once again, this time with the help of its first official image, which has made its way onto the web. But official doesn’t necessarily mean official in this case because the photo in question hasn’t been released by the French based automaker. In fact, it has been posted on terranismo.wordpress.com, and it’s revealing a brand new model, not just a simple facelift, with a redesigned front fascia, an updated hood, a new front grille, different headlights and a new bumper.
The next 508 is looking sleeker, with some boomerang shaped LED daytime running lights, with blackened headlights and with the chromed grille. The 2015 Peugeot 508 will be riding on the EMP2 platform, as rumors are saying, unlike the current version, which is using the PF3 platform, also found on the Peugeot 407, on the Citroen C5 and C6. The model in question will be produced in Rennes, France, and in Wuhan, China, where it will be made by the Dongfeng-PSA joint venture. More details on it will be announced in Q4 2014.
