2015 Peugeot 508 officially unveiled

The 2015 Peugeot 508 has been officially unveiled as the model in question is looking more upscale than its predecessor.

The facelifted version of the Peugeot 508, wearing the 2015 model year in its name, has been officially unveiled by the French based automaker. The vehicle has been following the footsteps of its smaller brothers, the 108 and the 308, in terms of design, and it has been equipped with a flatter hood, with a smaller grille and new LED headlights, along with restyled taillights, a new rear bumper and some other tweaks, to help set it apart from the current version.

The cabin of the model is getting higher quality materials, a 7-inch touch screen display, a new center console storage box, four-zone climate control, head-up display, JBL audio system, rearview camera, blind spot monitoring system, rearview camera and more. Power is being provided by a 1.6 liter THP with stop / start technology, producing 165 HP, along with a new 2.0 liter BlueHDi unit, rated at 180 HP. Peugeot says that the facelifted version of the 508 will become available for order, on the Old Continent, on the 10th of September. No pricing details have been announced yet.
