Porsche has officially pulled the wraps off its newest creation, the 2015 911 GTS, which is available as a coupe or as a convertible and with rear- or all-wheel drive.
The brand new 2015 Porsche 911 GTS has been fitted with features such as the sports exhaust system, the black engine vents, the chrome plated tailpipes, the wider rear fenders, the bi-xenon headlights and the 20-inch center locking wheels, which have a matte black finish. The interior design of the model may have been slightly modified but it does include just about everything covered in Alcantara upholstery, along with the leather / Alcantara sport seats.
Porsche says that the 2015 Porsche 911 GTS is coming with the Sport Chrono package and with the PASM active damper system which can lower the ride height by ten millimeters. Power to the sports car is being provided by the 3.8 liter six-cylinder unit, which is capable of producing no less than 430 HP (316 kW). The engine is connected to the PDK transmission, allowing the vehicle to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h (62 mph) in 4.0 seconds, as a coupe, and in 4.2 seconds, as a convertible. All models can reach a top speed of more than 300 km/h (186 mph).
The German based automaker says that the cheapest Porsche 911 Carrera GTS is available for order from 114,200 USD, over-seas, in the Coupe form, being followed by the 911 Carrera GTS Cabriolet, from 126,100 USD. If the AWD versions are more interesting to you, know that the 911 Carrera 4 GTS costs 120,900 USD while the 911 Carrera 4 GTS Cabriolet has been priced from 132,800 USD. These prices do not include the 995 USD destination fee.
