The facelifted version of the Porsche Cayenne has been officially unveiled by the carmaker as the model in question is coming with a series of tweaks.
The 2015 Porsche Cayenne has been officially unveiled. The model in question has a new front fascia where we can now see the redesigned front bumper, with its more blades in the air ducts for improved cooling, the larger grille, the front wings, the larger hood and so on. The chassis of the updated Cayenne has been revised too and the vehicle is now providing better comfort without affecting its dynamics. The cabin has receive the multi function steering wheel with paddle shifters and w can also see the Auto Stop / Start Plus system.
Porsche says that in the Diesel, in the S and in the S E-Hybrid versions, bi-xenon headlights are standard and they have LED daytime running light but if the LED headlights with the Porsche Dynamic Light System is what you are looking for, than you should turn your heads towards the Turbo model. The updated tailgate has been also seen, along with the angular taillights and a new rear bumper which is incorporating the exhaust pipes.
The 2015 Porsche Cayenne S is taking its power form a 3.6 liter V6 bi-turbo engine, rated at 420 HP (309 kW) at 6,000 rpm and 550 Nm (406 lb-ft) of torque available between 1,350 rpm and 4,500 rpm. This will be replacing the 4.8L V8 and it will be 20 HP (15 kW) and 50 Nm (37 lb-ft) more powerful and also more economical. The company says that this version can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in 5.5 seconds and it can reach a top speed of 259 km/h (161 mph).
The 2015 Porsche Cayenne S E-Hybrid has a 3.0 liter V6 supercharged engine under its hood, with 333 HP (245 kW) and an electric motor, providing 95 HP (70 kW). The total output produced stands at 416 HP (306 kW) at 5,500 rpm and 590 Nm (435 lb-ft) of torque, available between 1,250 rpm and 4,000 rpm. The 0 to 100 km/h sprint takes 5.9 seconds and top speed stands at 243 km/h (151 mph).
The updated Cayenne will be arriving in dealerships across the U.S. on the 1st of November and it will be priced from 61,700 USD for the Diesel. The Cayenne S will cost 74,100 USD and for the Cayenne S E-Hybrid you will have to pay 76,400 USD. The top of the line Cayenne Turbo will be setting you back from 113,600 USD. These prices don’t include the 995 USD destination fee.
