Ram has officially pulled the wraps off the 2015 2500 and 3500 Heavy Duty pickup trucks, unhealthy which will go in production later on this week.
The North American based automaker Ram has officially unveiled its newest creation, the 2015 2500 and 3500 Heavy Duty pickup trucks, which will be offering several best in class ratings and will go into production later on this week.
“Ram maintains leadership throughout its pickup line by offering best-in-class fuel efficiency with our Ram 1500 EcoDiesel at 28 MPG, best-in-class towing at 30,000 pounds, best-in-class power at 865 lb.-ft. and best-in-class payload at 7,390 pounds with our Ram 3500”, said Bob Hegbloom, the Ram boss.
The 2015 Ram 2500 is basically unchanged but the 2015 Ram 3500 has now received an increased payload of 3,352 kg and an upgraded 6.7 liter Cummings turbo diesel inline six-cylinder engine under its hood, which is providing 350 HP and an impressive 1,171 Nm (865 lb-ft) of torque. There is also a 370 HP and 800 lb-ft of torque unit available, a 385 HP and 865 lb-ft of torque, along with a 410 HP and 429 lb-ft 6.4L HEMI V8 and a 5.7 liter HEMI V8 with 383 HP and 400 lb-ft of torque. No pricing details have been announced yet.
