Ram will be introducing the 2015 Power Wagon to the 2014 New York Auto Show, next week, as the company has recently announced.
The 2015 Ram Power Wagon has been based on the Ram 2500 Heavy Duty 4×4 Crew Cab, coming with a ground clearance of 14.5 inches. The model in question is capable of riding on surfaces which have been covered in up to 30 inches of water and it has a 10,810 pounds towing capacity, tanks to the standard Warn electric winch, that can handle 12,000 pounds.
The vehicle has dropped the 5.7 liter HEMI V8, with its 383 HP and 400 lb-ft of torque, in favor for the larger 6.4 liter HEMI V8, which is producing a total output of 410 HP (306 kW) and 581 Nm (429 lb-ft) of torque. This unit has received the cylinder deactivation technology and this is improving fuel consumption. Power is being sent to the all-wheel drive through a 6-speed automatic transmission. Prices for the 2015 Ram Power Wagon will start at 45,690 USD for the base Tradesman version and at 50,340 USD for the SLT. The top of the line Laramie will set you back for 56,015 USD.
